Astrology is a pseudoscience that has been here for years and people have shown great interest in it since the beginning. But when we talk about millennial; those born between 1981 and 1996 tend to have a different pattern of the following astrology.

Astrology is the placement of the sun, moon, and planets; plus their movement around the star sun is a most important in astrology. It is called pseudoscience because science believes in something that can be measured. Astrology is something far from that rather it is only believed to have some effect.

People have always been interested in knowing about their future and themselves. In the same way, astrology has been striving to predict the future through the movement of stars and planets. Their zodiac signs allocate the particular planet or star to a personality and combining make a prognosis that tries to fit the circumstances going on.

Many people still believe that astrology is a science. The data from Europe found support for the hypothesis that people who believe in astrology as science lack the necessary literacy to know the difference between science and pseudoscience. Moreover, there is still confusion about knowing what personality is actually.

The signs which are famously known are the placement of the sun at the time of the birth of an individual but actually, the moon or planets predict other parts of the personality. One can take all of this as a party going on among planets and a zodiac expert has to make sense of whatever is going on in between them and how that affects individuals.

An emerging trend these days started by millennial is that of making memes. These are supposed to be for fun but actually, a great part of these is that sometimes they are making the complex concepts digestible. The same goes for astrology for millennial that which isn’t easy to understand. Memes melt those hard metals in to delicate pieces which become readily available for simple folks.

Why do millennial turn to astrologers?

Stress is a known factor for everyone and one attribute of being in stress is due to the unpredictable future. A 1982 study reveals that people turn to astrologers because of stress. A study was conducted in a group who were shown two cards of zodiac personality description according to their Sun sign but actually, one card had correct information while the other was incorrect. An individual had to choose one card that they believed described them well. Most of them chose the wrong card.

However, the second part of the study in which they had to fill up a personality test describing them well. It turned out to be a much more accurate description of their personality. This reveals that zodiac signs are not accurate rather a scientific method to know oneself is a much better choice.
